Time is relative, we all know that from when we were at school and those 45 minutes would last for ever. So what if we played wiith it putting trees growing at our speed, if we listened to their noises, their breathing?
O tempo é relativo, todos nós sabemos isso. E se jogássemos com essa diferença entre o tempo humano e o tempo por exemplo do reino vegetal. Se fosse possível ver crescer perante os nossos olhos uma árvore, e ouvir os seus ruídos, o estalar, o cair talvez até o respirar.

1999 animation short movie

 Joe is arrested. He does´nt understand why, the questions makes no sense. Why him?
A child outside the prison thinks he is the father and tries to communicate. There is an chance of escaping and Joe is free again. Now the task is to look for the girl and tell her that there is no point in waiting, her father is dead. Life goes on for both now.

Joaquim é preso e sujeito a um interrogatório, mas as perguntas não fazem sentido. Qual a razăo para estar ali? Porquê ele? Uma criança no exterior da prisão toma-o como o seu pai encarcerado na mesma cela. Surge uma hipótese de fuga e a tarefa de Joaquim é encontrar aquela menina e explicar-lhe que năo adianta esperar. O seu pai morreu, foi uma das muitas vítimas do carcereiro. A vida segue o seu ritmo habitual na cidade alheia a todo o drama, Joaquim e a criança desaparecem nas ruas de Lisboa.
